Le livre dont tout le monde rêve

Très bon livre. 5 thèmes principaux, concis, précis, efficace, on ne se perd pas dans les détails. Installation, configuration, mise en route, description des fichiers principaux utiles pour un serveur et du système de fichiers LINUX, puis on part dans Apache, MySQL, PHP avec toujours le même souci d'efficacité à savoir trouver le juste milieu entre suffisamment d'info "théorique" sur le logiciel serveur et pratique pour le mettre en route, avec, chose très bien, les compléments inévitables qui vont autour : SSL, qmail, etc., etc. (installation, configuration et dépannage à chaque fois détaillés). Bref, très bon livre, même mieux que certains pour se mettre à LINUX TOUT COURT. L'auteur a su résumer en quelques pages très efficaces ce que d'autres n'arrivent pas à faire avec un livre complet. Impressionnant. Vous ne vous perdrez pas dans les détails, mais vous trouverez suffisamment d'info pour mettre en route, configurer, exploiter et en plus comprendre ce qui va autour, si vous avez un souci. L'ensemble des fichiers de configuration Linux est expliqué et détaillé, ainsi que chaque répertoire... La première partie sur LINUX est une introduction (et plus) très bien pour le novice (Linux Fedora utilisé avec conseils pour Debian parfois). Si vous n'avez pas envie de perdre du temps, ce livre est fait pour vous. Bien plus qu'une introduction à la mise en oeuvre de LAMP, c'est une formation complète à LINUX et ses logiciels serveurs WEB ; bien sûr on reste dans l'optique "le meilleur des mondes" : il faut toujours creuser autour pour s'améliorer, optimiser, dépanner (bien que sur tous ces points à chaque fois des pistes sont données et traitées plus ou moins longuement), mais j'ai été très impressionné par l'efficacité de cet ouvrage.
