Résumé
"I want a pet lion," Lucy declares with delight. "I'll play with it, feed it and cuddle it tight." Lucy wants a pet lion. Her fifth birthday is approaching soon and her favourite soft toy, an old stuffed lion, badly needs mending. She promises her family that she will play with her pet lion, feed it and cuddle it tight. However, she doesn't quite know what lions like and need until she meets Tim who looks after the lions at the wildlife park... Little by little, Lucy discovers the true nature of the king of the jungle. A beautiful story about a determined little girl and her caring family, illustrated by detailed scenes of Lucy's imagination. Children will follow along willingly as Lucy imagines how she will look after a lion, despite what she is told.
