L'auteur - Tom Capizzi
Author Tom Capizzi is a technical director at Rhythm & Hues Studios and has been involved in the field of computer graphics for more than 13 years. He has 11 years of teaching experience at such respected schools as The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Academy of Art in San Francisco, and Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Working at Rhythm & Hues since 1996, he has worked as a modeling and lighting technical director on many feature productions, including Dr. Dolittle 2, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Spawn, Stuart Little, Mystery Men, Babe 2: Pig in the City, Mouse Hunt, and Scooby Doo. Series Editor Michael Ford is currently a senior technical animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks and is co-founder of Animation Foundation, an animation consulting company specializing in training and education. He began his career as a digital artist after graduating from UCLA School of Design. He has since worked on numerous feature and commercial projects at Sony Imageworks, Industrial Light & Magic, and CFX. He has lectured at UCLA School of Design, The University of Southern California, DeAnza College, and the San Francisco Academy of Art College. His film credits include Stuart Little, Stuart Little 2, The Perfect Storm, The Mummy, Godzilla, Species II, Mortal Kombat II, and The Faculty. Series Editor Kyle Clark is a lead animator at Microsoft's Digital Anvil Studios and is co-founder of Animation Foundation. He began his career while pursuing a master's degree in Film, Video, and Computer Animation at The University of Southern California and has since worked on a number of feature, commercial, and game projects at Industrial Light & Magic, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Microsoft, Mooncrescent Animation, Cinesite Digital Studios, and Digital Magic. Kyle has taught at The University of Southern California, the San Francisco Academy of Art College, San Francisco State University, UCLA School of Design, and Texas A&M University. His film credits include Star Wars Episode I, Sleepy Hollow, Deep Blue Sea, The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (lead animator), and Brute Force video game for the Xbox (lead animator).
