Vision trinitaire et cosmothéandrique : dieu-homme-cosmos

« C'est la conscience qu'a l'homme de ne pas être seul, de ne pas être le maître absolu de son propre destin, qui l'ouvre à la divinité. Et c'est cette conscience, aussi vague puisse-t-elle être, qui rapproche l'homme de la divinité. La divinité transcende l'homme tout en l'entourant elle est inséparable de la conscience que l'homme a de sa propre identité. Et pourtant elle reste toujours insaisissable, cachée, et, pour certains, inexistante. » L'humanité s'est comprise elle-même, et le cosmos avec elle, selon trois visions principales : une vision moniste, une vision dualiste et une vision a-dualiste. C'est cette dernière qui est au fondement de la vision cosmothéandrique présentée et explorée dans ce volume. Dans une perspective cosmothéandrique, la réalité n'est ni un bloc unique et indistinct qui serait soit divin, soit spirituel, soit matériel, ni composée de trois blocs ou de trois niveaux. Au contraire, elle est constituée par la relation et l'interdépendance entre trois dimensions : divine (la transcendance), humaine (la conscience) et physique (la matière). De la sorte, Raimon Panikkar nous conduit à appréhender la réalité comme une Trinité où l'homme, en tant que microcosme et image du Tout, est investi d'une dignité toute particulière dans son rapport à Dieu et au cosmos. Ce volume des « oeuvres » de Raimon Panikkar rassemble cinq études écrites originellement de 1973 à 2004, toutes revues par lui et, pour la plupart, traduites pour la première fois en français.

This book of 'oeuvres' by Raimon Panikkar assembles five studies originally written from 1973 to 2004, all reread by him and, for the most part, translated into French for the first time.
