This practical 'how-to'book describes all the key operations of ARIS Toolset - the market leading Business Process Modelling Tool. Using lots of screen shots and plenty of practical examples, Rob Davis shows how ARIS can be used to model 'your' business processes.
Based on his experience of using ARIS in British Telecommunications plc, the author describes practical ways of using ARIS Toolset:

L'auteur - Rob Davis

Rob Davis

graduated with a first class honors in electrical and electronic engineering and held a number of engineering design posts in industry before joining British Telecommunications plc in 1984 to work on optical fiber digital line systems. In 1988, he joined BT Laboratories to manage computer-aided engineering for BT Network Systems. More recently, Rob led a team in the Intelligent Systems Unit looking at applying knowledge-based systems technology to decision support tasks, including the use of expert systems and case-based reasoning for help desk applications. This work was later applied to BT's customer handling systems. In his current work, he leads the Component-Based Systems Engineering (CoBaSE) team at BT Laboratories, looking at how reusable components can be systematically used to rapidly assemble new systems.
