Organizers of the 11th IRPA International Congress have wished to take advantage of this occasion to launch a new series of books dedicated to review the current important problems of concern in radioprotection. The four editors have combined their efforts to assemble within this book contributions from the worldwide and most famous specialists in their respective fields. L'auteur - Henri Métivier

Henri Métivier, directeur de recherches, conseiller du directeur de l'IPSN, professeur à l'Institut des sciences et techniques nucléaires, a consacré toute sa carrière aux actinides, leur chimie, leurs effets sur le monde animal et la protection à mettre en place pour éviter leur effets néfastes. Membre du Comité 2 de la Commission internationale de protection radiologique (ICRP), il est un spécialiste reconnu sur le plan international.
