Mathematical Handbook for Electrical Engineers
Sergey A. Leonov, Alexander I Leonov - Collection Engineering Mathematics
Résumé
When trying to solve a complex, seemingly unsolvable problem, electrical engineers sometimes need to start at the very beginning of the problem. To arrive at a solution, they have to go back to the basics and examine the mathematical rules, laws, and formulas that are at the root of every electrical engineering problem. Written by experienced engineers, Mathematical Handbook for Electrical Engineers is an invaluable resource for professionals in the field, and also serves as a time-saving reference for students. This single, all-encompassing, 520-page volume offers:
- Clear and concise explanations of the essential mathematics that engineers use on the job every day
- Examples from a wide variety of electrical engineering disciplines, including circuits, devices and systems, antennas and propagation, waveforms and signal processing, and stochastic radio engineering
- Quick and easy access to major mathematical formulas and equations frequently used in electrical engineering, including stochastic simulation algorithms that are typically scattered over numerous books and papers
L'auteur - Sergey A. Leonov
Sergey A, Leonov is a principal scientist at Raytheon Canada. He is the coauthor of Handbook of Computer Simulation in Radio Engineering, Communications, and Radar, Radar Technology Encyclopedia; and Russian-English and English-Russian Dictionary of Radar and Electronics (Artech House, 2001,1997, and 1993), among other books. He holds an M.Sc. from Kharkov University and a Ph.D. and D.Sc. from the Moscow Aerospace Institute.
Alexander I. Leonov is a professor at the Moscow Institute of Technology. For 25 years he was a senior member of teams that designed and tested state-of-the-art radars for Soviet ABM programs. He is also the coauthor of Handbook of Computer Simulation in Radio Engineering, Communications, and Radar and Radar Technology Encyclopedia (Artech House, 2001 and 1997). Professor Leonov holds an M.Sc. from the Leningrad Military University of Communications and a Ph.D. and D.Sc. from the Moscow Aerospace Institute.
